OSSETT United extended their 2023 unbeaten away record to six games with a point at Lincoln United which helps neither side.
Chris Dawson saw an early strike tipped onto the crossbar by Jack Steggles, and from the resulting corner James Walshaw’s overhead kick cleared the bar by inches. Ossett had the better of the first half with opportunities which were well defended until the stroke of half-time when Alex Peterson was opened the scoring. Lincoln looked to pick up the pace in the second half but met a solid Ossett United defence led by Harry Coates.
