■ AN own goal after 16 minutes decided this match that saw Exmouth Town ease any fears of relegation and put a dent into Tavistock’s hopes of a top-five finish.
After the visitors had threatened early in the game, the defining moment came when a Ben Steer cross was turned into his own net by the unfortunate Ed Harrison. Harrison was again the culprit after 41 minutes bringing down Aarron Denny, but Josh Oak produced a superb save to deny Exmouth’s Captain Dave Rowe from the spot.
