FC UNITED of Manchester dealt a blow to Bamber Bridge’s hopes of catching the league leaders with a five-star show.
The visitors got off to a great start when Luke Mariette struck a tremendous volley into the top corner on eight minutes.
United equalised 30 minutes in when Michael Potts played in Dontai Gabidon who finished well.
The Reds had a chance to double their lead from the spot a minute later, but Max Cane was denied by Felix Goddard.
