Big win on the road for Morpeth

MORPETH Town took home all three points against Hyde United to help their fight against relegation in a huge game at both ends of the NPL Premier division.
The Highwaymen took the lead on eight minutes against the run of play. Hyde had a good spell of possession and Tom Pratt had a shot blocked in the box.
Morpeth then cleared the ball to Sam Fishburn on the halfway line, who was one-on-one with Jordan Fagbola. Fishburn won the race towards goal and slotted past the onrushing Dan Atherton.
