MID-TABLE Tiverton Town defeated relegation-threatened Gosport on a rare sunny day in Devon.
Tiverton were the more positive team in the first half, but without creating too many clear-cut chances.
Lucas Vowles fashioned a couple of half chances. First, he had a goal-bound shot blocked. His next effort - coming from a Tom Purrington cross - brought an excellent save.
Gosport were finding chances hard to come by and were convinced that they should have had a penalty when Dylan Jones was impeded.
