■ GRANTHAM gained a valuable three points with this win over already relegated Tadcaster.
Both sides struggled to control the ball on the hard bumpy pitch.
Grantham’s Greg Smith hit a post after five minutes as the home team began to dominate and they took the lead after 14 minutes when Smith headed down a cross for Mason Lee to finish it off.
Grantham forced a number of corners and they increased their lead after 41 minutes when Nathan Tyson finished at the far post following a cross from the right.
