■EAST Thurrock came from two goals down to rescue a point against New Salamis.
The visitors got off to the perfect start, finding the back of the net through Nathan Mandla as early as the fifth minute.
From there, the only way was up in the first half, as Harrison Georgiou doubled the New Salamis lead in the 21st minute to put the visitors in total control.
A 2-0 lead is often deemed the most dangerous lead in football, however, and the hosts proved why in the final ten minutes, as Ayo Odukota halved the deficit in the 83rd minute.
