Rovers should have taken an early lead, but AJ Adamu’s shot was saved by Danny Sambridge. Rovers got the breakthrough after 40 minutes when Jack Thompson’s corner found Perry Dunn. His header was cleared off the line, but it fell to David Knight and he volleyed into the back of the net.
