■ HEYBRIDGE Swifts battled to victory over nine-man Stowmarket Town to strengthen their play-offs position.
The visitors took control of the game from the off, finding the opening goal in the ninth minute of play through Myles Anderson’s strike from close range.
Heybridge built from there and got their second in the 21st minute, as Matthew Price converted from Kieran Jones’ pinpoint cross.
Chris Casement’s 51stminute goal gave Stowmarket hope.
