A BEAUTIFUL day saw VCD and Ashford meet to fight for different reasons.
Karl Dent went close early on with a header that went wide of the visitors’ goal. After 40 minutes, a Dent free-kick had the goalkeeper scrambling, but it would be 0-0 at the interval.
