BRACKNELL Town ensured they stayed in the hunt for the Southern League Premier South division title with victory over Gosport Borough at The SB Stadium.
The home side dominated much of the first half but had to wait until the 40th minute to get their noses in front.
Robins right-back Jack Dean was brought down in the box by a late sliding challenge from Daniel Hollands and referee Tommy Breen pointed straight to the spot.
