BEDWORTH started the game well but it was Cambridge that opened the scoring in the eighth minute when Daniel Cotton hit a freekick into the top corner.
The hosts stayed on the front foot and were rewarded in the 29th minute when Ryan Moore turned in a low cross. The Greenbacks’ joy was doubled a minute later when debutant Trea Bertie scored the home side’s second.
