BOTH Glossop North End and Clitheroe went into this clash needing three points, but for differing reasons at opposite ends of the standings.
After half an hour, Clitheroe, who have designs on reaching the end-of-season play-offs, had a goal ruled out for a harsh offside.
Right on half-time, though, Glossop, against the run of play, made it 1-0 through a Luke Nock corner that Keaton Mulvey headed home. Clitheroe came back with a quick response right from the kickoff at the start of the second half via Stefan Gonzales.
