CHESHUNT are now four points from safety with two matches remaining after keeping their hopes of avoiding the drop alive against Bath.
A cagey opening came to life on the half-hour when Cheshunt failed to clear convincingly and James Morton fired just wide for Bath.
Another mistake put Scott Wilson through with only the keeper to beat but Cheshunt stopper Adam Desbois came to his side’s rescue.
