UNITED’S final game of the season ended in defeat as Stratford Town ran out winners at Greenwich Avenue.
Kyle Bennett put the Bards in front after 35 minutes before a well-taken Charlie Williams strike doubled their advantage at the break.
In a slow start, the game’s first shot came with 22 minutes on the clock when Williams forced Kieran Preston into a decent save before the deadlock was broken.
Patient down both flanks, the ball eventually found itself down the right and a tempting cross was nodded home at the front...
