Bennett shines for dominant Bards

UNITED’S final game of the season ended in defeat as Stratford Town ran out winners at Greenwich Avenue.
Kyle Bennett put the Bards in front after 35 minutes before a well-taken Charlie Williams strike doubled their advantage at the break.
In a slow start, the game’s first shot came with 22 minutes on the clock when Williams forced Kieran Preston into a decent save before the deadlock was broken.
