GOAL difference was all that stopped Coalville from gaining automatic promotion, despite them putting three past Stourbridge in front of a packed Owen Street.
Tim Berridge gave the Ravens the best possible start, scoring after 15 seconds, before George Wilson and Billy Kee each found the back of the net before the break.
But Obinna Anaebonam scored from the spot after the restart to reduce the deficit for Stourbridge, as Coalville ran out of steam.
