HAYES & YEADING ended the season on a high note with victory over Merthyr Town.
Their hero of the day was striker Moses Emmanuel who grabbed a hat-trick.
Martyrs stopper Will Fuller also produced three excellent saves to keep the scores level, while his opposite number Jack Smith did well to deny Tony Angel. In the 41st minute, however, Emmanuel was not to be denied, and he made it 1–0. Moments later, Owen Brain nearly equalised, but his effort crashed into the side netting.
