■ RAMSGATE secured home advantage in the play-offs with a victory over Ashford United at the Homelands Stadium.
The Rams were gifted the lead after Rhyle Ovenden and George Bentley got mixed up at the back, leaving Rowan Liburd with an empty net.
Ashford’s response was respectable and Cameron Brodie had a strike from distance magnificently saved onto the bar. Gary Lockyer found the equaliser before half-time with a precise left-footed finish into a corner.
