■ A STUNNING first-half performance by Southall decided their game against Chertsey Town.
They took a seventh-minute lead through Manny Williams and the same player doubled the score after 18 minutes.
Anthony O’Connor then made it 3-0 after 29 minutes followed by a Jaden Thompson-Bridgett penalty four minutes later.
After the excitement of the first half, the second was a bit of an anti-climax. Despite numerous Southall chances, the only goal was scored by William Montague from a disputed penalty after 74 minutes.
