CHAMPIONS Ebbsfleet finished 20 points clear after finishing their season with a flourish against relegated Hungerford. Leading scorer Dominic Poleon was suspended but that didn’t prevent the Fleet from finding their scoring boots with midfielder Toby Edser scoring an excellent hat-trick.
Hungerford have never kept a clean sheet against Ebbsfleet – and any chance of ending that sequence was over inside 70 seconds when Darren McQueen set up Edser to blast home.
