REDBRIDGE dramatically secured promotion to the Isthmian League South East Division, rallying from two goals behind to pip defeat Haywards Heath Town in their relegation play-off.
The Blues initially had a dream start as Richard Pingling opened the scoring after 13 minutes courtesy of a fortuitous deflection – then 20 minutes later, striker Alex Laing gave them a two-goal cushion from the spot after being brought down inside the area.
Redbridge refused to give up, however, and upped their intensity in the second-half.
