HOWZAT as former professional cricketer Ben Harmison fired Ashington back in the Northern Premier League for the first time in 54 years.
The 37-year-old, who played county cricket for Durham and Kent, scored the Colliers’ first two goals in their comfortable play-off victory at Glossop North End.
“It is up there with what I have achieved in sport, especially as I am born and bred in Ashington and club captain,” he told The NLP.
