SHOLING chief Dave Diaper believes it’s the right time for the Boatmen to hit the high seas of Step 3.
Diaper has taken charge of well over 1,000 games having first got involved in 1999 when the club was known as Vosper Thornycroft in the Hampshire League.
Since then they’ve enjoyed some remarkable moments, not least lifting the FA Vase at Wembley in 2014.
