SPORTS CLOSE TO ‘MAJOR’ TAKEOVER

EASTBOURNE BOR- OUGH have revealed they are in advanced talks with a major new investor who is set to take a controlling stake in the National League South club.
Sports aren’t naming the identity of the interested party but it’s understood the investment is set to be significant.
Borough, currently setup as a Community Interest Company, hope to go public with more detailed plans by the end of the month.
