As curtain calls go, scoring the winner at Wembley doesn’t get any better – and Ascot United goal hero Kai Walters will set off into the Australian sunset having done just that.
The 26-year-old substitute got on the end of a Sean McCormack cross to bring the Yellamen victory under the arch.
It came on his final game in English football before moving Down Under with his family and girlfriend to start a new chapter in his life.
