BUCKS TEAMS MERGE AS ONE ENTITY

BUCKINGHAM now has a new club representing the county town.
Buckingham United and Buckingham Athletic have amalgamated to form Buckingham FC and will play in the Spartan South Midlands League Division One next season.
Athletic were formed in 1933 as Buckingham Juniors, while the existing United set-up was formed in 2011, initially as a Sunday side.
The newly-merged club have appointed former Rusden & Diamonds under-23s boss Rory Williams as their first manager.
