DAGGERS GO EAST FOR U’S LEGEND

DAGENHAM & Redbridge boss Ben Strevens has beaten off the attentions of several Football League clubs to sign defender Tom Eastman.
The 31-year-old former Ipswich Town centre back is the latest addition to Strevens’ squad, agreeing a two-year year from Colchester United.
“We’re delighted that Tom’s decided to join us here at Dagenham,” Strevens said. “He had interest from Football League and other National League clubs as well.
