CURRY’S HOT FOR QUAKERS

MITCHELL Curry has swapped a MLS career in the USA for the northeast after signing for Darlington.
The 23-year-old striker started his career at Middlesbrough eight years ago when Quakers boss Alun Armstrong was on the coaching staff.
After loan spells at Harrogate Town and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Curry moved to Sunderland in 2020 and made just the one appearance for the Black Cats before moving across to the USA
