ARSON A THORN IN SIDE OF BLUES

NORTHERN League side Thornaby have appealed for help after an arson attack caused damage estimated at £130,000 at their Teesdale Park ground.
Five fire engines attended the blaze in the early hours of Monday, as flames ripped through the clubhouse and other facilities used by nine teams.
The Division Two outfit has since met representatives of the Football Foundation to discuss potential help, and have also launched a national GoFundMeUK appeal.
