BLOODS’ DOUBLE BOOSTER

SAFFRON Walden Town joint-manager Terry Spillane has expressed his delight that Dion Lewis-Kirwan and Charlie Smith are staying put.
The Bloods are preparing for a fresh campaign in the Essex Senior League and Spillane believes the duo have a big part to play.
He said: “Dion is very pacy and a great player who can play in various positions. I’m looking forward to seeing him progress this season.
“Charlie is a player who can unlock any defence on his day. He has great close control and is a player who gets you on the edge of your seat.”
