COOPER BOOSTS MARINE

MANAGER Lee Spalding has strengthened his Swindon Supermarine squad for the upcoming Southern Premier South season by snapping up defender Luke Cooper.
The Cardiff-based centre-back played for Barry Town United for the last seven seasons before he left at the end of last season. The 30-year-old played in the opening pre-season game against Swindon Town and had a solid first start for Marine in the 2-0 defeat.
Cooper’s arrival makes up for the loss of central defender Tyrone Duffus, 26, who has stepped up to Gloucester City for an undisclosed fee.
