ON THE MOVE: Chris Whelpdale

FORMER Peterborough United, Gillingham and Stevenage midfielder Chris Whelpdale has signed for Lewes.
Whelpdale, 36, has spent the last five seasons playing in National League South, first with Chelmsford City and then the last three seasons with Eastbourne Borough where he scored 18 goals in 62 appearances.
A former youth team player at Norwich City, Arsenal and Ipswich Town, Whelpdale had to make his climb into the professional game the hard way, playing first for Maldon Town and then Billericay Town.
