CITY’S COUP IN GUERFI

WELWYN Garden City have made a landmark signing in the shape of midfielder Zak Guerfi.
London born Guerfi played for Tunisia’s under 18 side when only 16 and was an unused substitute for their national team in a fixture with Iraq five years ago,
The former Stevenage academy product had short spells with Bishop’s Stortford and Biggleswade United before spending time in Sweden and Tunisia. Brief spells with Braintree Town, Tonbridge Angels and Leatherhead followed before playing at Potters Bar Town up to last year.
