DESPITE taking an early lead, Bedford succumbed to a brace of goals from QPR at the Eyrie as the visitors won a keenly contested match.
QPR were billed as a development side but there were at least three first-teamers in the starting line-up.
The hosts took the lead after just three minutes. Kyle Connolly’s free kick from the corner of the area beat everyone and crept in at the far post.
QPR equalised five minutes later. Hamzad Kargbo, slotted into an empty net after Sinclair Armstrong’s mazy run.
