THE two teams played out an entertaining friendly on a fine July afternoon, in what was Leiston’s final pre-season game. Jamar Loza’s first half goal for Leiston was bettered by two Jake Reed goals either side of the break, before Spencer Keller scored the equaliser just before the hour mark as the game ended all square.
The Blues took the lead on 24 minutes when Luke Holt pushed away Joe Marsden’s effort. Loza was on hand to score his sixth goal of pre-season.
