BASFORD hammered North Ferriby to condemn the Villagers to defeat in their last pre-season friendly.
Two goals in each half from the hosts gave Ferriby boss Chris Bolder plenty to mull over before next Saturday’s FA Cup clash with Crook Town.
The Villagers went close with just over 10 minutes gone. Danny Earl jumped onto a loose ball and hit a curling effort that clipped the crossbar.
The hosts took the lead a farcical Ferriby defensive mix-up allowed Jonathan Wafula to poke past Tom Jackson.
