BARNET fought off a strong Hartlepool United fightback to clinch a thrilling encounter at the Hive.
Adebolda Oluwo put the hosts ahead midway through the first half, before Nicke Kabamba and Danny Collinge gave the home side a three-goal cushion.
Jake Hastie pulled one back for Pools and Josh Umerah set up a tense period of stoppage time after seeing his penalty saved by Laurie Walker and prodding home the rebound.
