BENFLEET FC boss Alex Salmon has called on league chiefs to clamp down on clubs not properly prepared for the start of the new season after seeing his opening game postponed at the 11th hour – not once, but twice!
Salmon’s frustration began last Saturday when they arrived at the Newham Leisure Centre to take on Clapton FC, only to discover the grass only half cut with no lines marked out.
