LEWES got their season off and running in fantastic style with three points in a closely-fought affair against Cray Wanderers at the Dripping Pan.
Rooks wideman Kalvin Kalala caused the visitors a number of early problems and came the closest to opening the scoring when his shot was parried away by the keeper.
Ronnie Vint then sent a flying header across the goal from an Alfie Egan corner. At the other end, David Ijaha’s shot from distance hit the top of the bar.
