A FORMER footballer who hurled cheesy chips at a 60-year-old woman in a kebab shop queue before punching her in the face has been jailed.
Marcus Maddison called the woman’s daughter a “fat sl**” before the 3am attack, which left her with complex facial fractures.
At the time, the 29-yearold former Newcastle United and Peterborough United midfielder was in the process of revitalising his fallen professional career at National League North side Darlington.
