LENNELL John-Lewis fired a 93rd-minute equaliser to break Aldershot hearts.
Aaron Jones had put the Shots ahead before the break but, with time running out, the former Grimsby striker came up trumps to salvage a point.
The hosts were the sharpest out of the blocks and created plenty of chances in the first 45.
Ollie Harfield hit the side netting in just the second minute before Jack Barham forced David Stockdale into a strong save two minutes later.
