FLEET MOURN LEGEND DANZEY

EBBSFLEET UNITED are in mourning following the death of “giant figure in the club’s history” Peter Danzey.
Fleet’s honorary club secretary passed away on Friday afternoon following a short illness.
Danzey spent 12 years as the club secretary from 2009 to 2021, working alongside managers including Liam Daish, Steve Brown, Jamie Day, Daryl McMahon, Garry Hill, Kevin Watson and current boss Dennis Kutrieb.
Since retiring he has continued his involvement with the National League club, attending as many games home and away as possible.
