AN excellent first-half display from Ebbsfleet United proved a fitting way to remember late former club secretary Peter Danzey.
Fleet scored three goals before the break in the first home game since the club’s honourary secretary passed away eight days earlier.
It was an emotional day on and off the pitch with Ebbsfleet players embracing Danzey’s widow Maggie prior to a minute’s silence held before kick-off in his memory.
