A GOAL in each half saw Needham Market move into the play-off places following victory over Alvechurch.
Needham were the better side first half and had the first chance of the afternoon when Dan Morphew forced an early save out of the keeper to tip it over for a corner.
Alvechurch broke forward well and Jaanai Gordon was denied by a good near post save from keeper Marcus Garnham.
The Marketmen then broke the deadlock on 19 minutes, as Jake Dye’s cross dipped into the top far corner.
