DIDCOT remain without a point after slipping to a late defeat against Basingstoke at the Loop Meadow.
The Hampshire visitors tore Didcot apart for the first 30 minutes, but failed to maintain their momentum and ultimately the Railwaymen can be aggrieved they did not salvage a draw.
Diddy custodian Leigh Bedwell kept his side in contention by thwarting George Reid in the first minute, Bradley Wilson from the penalty spot and Morrison Hashii via an outstanding point-blank block.
