ASHINGTON got their first league win of the season at Stocksbridge.
The Colliers took the lead early on when good play from Oliver Thompson created space before he put a great ball to the far post where Charlie Exley was there to tap in.
Stocksbridge levelled before the end of the half. Jack Watson was taken out by a sliding tackle in the box, allowing Luke Rawson to step up and send the goalkeeper the wrong way.
