LEWIS COLLINS’ second- minute effort was enough to give the visitors the win. A free-kick on the edge of the Corby box saw the ball whipped in. Ben Heath in the Steelmen’s goal could only parry for Collins to strike high into the goal.
After that it was just a frustrating game to watch, poor decisions by both teams on the pitch, a real lack of goal mouth action and some odd decisions by the officials.
Toward the end of the second half Corby found an edge but not the equaliser.
