THIS match started at an incredible pace with two goals in the opening four.
Ben Aubrey kicked things off for the hosts with a curled shot into the top corner from 25 yards in the third minute, only for Gil Carvalho to equalise a minute later.
Herne Bay started the second half brighter with a couple of half chances before again East Grinstead took control and looked the more dangerous.
A couple more chances were created by the home team, which were wasted before Herne Bay took the lead against the run of play through Kane Rowland.
