A PENALTY earned Bad-Lea all three points  in a hard-fought encounter at Thatcham Town.
The visitors started the better of the two teams, testing Toby Fisher in the Thatcham goal with an early free-kick.
After 41 minutes, Lamin Ceesay went down under pressure in the box and the referee pointed to the spot. Kane Fitzgerald made no mistake, sending the keeper the wrong way.
Thatcham made several changes as they looked to get back into the game.
