At least we belong in the real world

I DON’T condone mismanagement of clubs at any level and have every sympathy for the long-suffering fans of Southend United now and so many before. The club owes around £1 million.
So for a ‘laugh’ I looked up Manchester United’s debt. It is estimated they owe close to £1 BILLION yet no-one is suggesting that they are wound up.
Why? Because we all support them, just as we all supported West Ham United when the then Mayor of London Boris Johnson gifted them the £760 million London Stadium for a meagre £15 million.
